The short answer

For photo sharing with no login, drop your picture on AnonShot and copy the private link it creates. A one-off share requires no account, name, or email. The recipient does not need to sign up either.

Before creating the link, you can add a password or enable burn-after-read. AnonShot also strips EXIF metadata, including any embedded GPS location, from the shared version.

Why skip accounts for a one-off share

Creating an account to send a single photo is unnecessary friction: a sign-up form, email verification, a password to remember. It also adds an identifiable trail tied to your identity, which defeats the purpose of anonymous sharing.

No sign-up means the share is not tied to an email address or public profile. It does not mean an online service processes no technical data: connection information is still needed to operate the service, secure it, and prevent abuse.

How it works

Drop a JPEG, PNG, WebP, or GIF into the upload area. Check the preview, choose the protection you need, then select “Create link.” Each image can be up to 50 MB.

The link is unlisted: it is absent from public galleries and guides. Anyone who has the address could still forward it, so add a password when the picture is sensitive.

• Standard link: for a screenshot or photo that must remain available.
• Password: when the link might be forwarded or intercepted.
• Burn-after-read: to delete the share after its first opening.
• Album: to group several photos behind one address.

What to keep after sending

Without an account, you have no centralized history of your shares: keep the edit link if the service provides one, since you won't be able to find it otherwise.

AnonShot also keeps recent shares in the current browser session. If you switch devices, clear browser data, or regularly manage several albums, the optional account makes management easier without being required to send a picture.
